I have an HP HPE-210f that recently quit working.
The computer froze so my wife pressed the power button for a few seconds to shut it off. Ever since then, we can't get it back to functioning.
The computer powers on, the fans turn/lights on etc.
However it seems that none of the ports work. I can't get any of the USB ports to work with our USB keyboard or usb mouse (the optical mouse doesn't light up nor do the lights such as 'caps lock' on the keyboard) and I can't get anything to display using the hdmi out. I've tried different hdmi cables and I took out and put back in the cmos battery.
Still not working.
I have no idea what I'm doing but someone on yahoo answers advised me that my mother board is toast.
Do you think that's the case?
