I currently own a 120gb ssd for my os - and a 1tb hdd for my games, I think my game load times are sluggish the hdd is 7200rpm - should I buy a 500gb ssd for my pc and get rid of the hdd, I am going to do this in the hope of reducing the load times and increasing the reliability of the machine so If I do get one, what one? I was looking at this one - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-500GB-Basic-Solid-State... - or this one - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kingston-Technology-HyperX-Upgr... thanks!! It also has a slightly faster write speed and the same read speed. The boot time wont be any different from the other ssd because the read times are the same but moving files onto the ssd will be faster. But compared to a 7200rpm hdd it should be much faster Reply to tom_taylor97 Ask the community Post an answer Read discussions in other Memory categories Compatibility DDR2 DDR3 Dual Channel RAM Corsair G.SKILL !
