Hi all i am building my own gaming desktop for the first time my specs are:
CPU i7 3770k
Gpu gtx 770 oc gigabyte
16gb ram 2133mhz
msi mpower motherboard
blah blah blah...

if anyone could recommend a decent or suitable psu for this setup.
I wont be overclocking anything but as you can see i have stock overclocked gear and want to make sure i dont get a weak ass psu.
Im looking at spending $220 max on psu but if anyone knows of anything around the $150 that would be great.
Thanks

I'm a big fan of Corsair PSUs. Their HX series is high end (Gold certified) and they're modular. This one will be more than enough:

Corsair HX850:

However, for your components and since you won't be overclocking, you could save more money with the HX650 or HX750 instead. Requirements for a GeForce GTX-770 is only 600-Watt and they always exaggerate this a bit so even a HX650 would be plenty enough.

I suggested the HX850 as it seemed you wanted to put more money, but mostly because the HX850 could also easily handle a second GTX-770 if you ever want to go SLI in the future. So as I said it's more than enough for anything you might want to throw at it.
