good day every body ...

im having a chance to trade my card for a gtx 770 2gb model .. also i have a choice to trade it for a gtx 690 ..or simply buy a new gtx 780 ...

gtx 780 or gtx 690 would cost me a lot and in that case ill hold upgrade for now and just save some more money to be able to go with any of those option ..
gtx 770 2gb model is within my budget and i can buy today ...
but ive heard 2gb Vram will be outdated very shortly when next gen consoles hit the stores .. i really dont know im not a tech expers but ive read tons of posts about people saying its a life time mistake to buy a 2gb vram card now adays when nex gen consoles are using 8gb ...
again im no tech expert so im not comparing but that what i read ..

so im pretty confused also another note is that i cant go with the 770 4gb cos its not released in my country yet ..

i have 8350 ocd to 4.7
8 gb 1600 mhz ram
27 inch 120hz 3d 1080p monitor ..
cougar 700 psw .
7950 3gb gddr5 sapphire readeon ...

what do you suggest me to do guys ? shall i trade my card which is perfoming pretty weak on most current games i cant max tombraider or bioshock or hitman without having lagginess and frame drops to 15 or something and that is without touching the msaa .. so shall i trade mine for the gtx 770 2 gb asus or gigabyte and this will be adequate for at least a year ? or shall i just save and trade mine for a gtx 690 which im pretty confused about as well cos i ve read its actually 2 cards in sli so a lot of games are not supporting it or simply just dont run well with multiple gpu's but its a very good deal hence it is used .. in the case of going with the gtx 780 ill buy it new and its by the same price of the 690 that is offered to me ...

what do you advice me guys ?

thank you ...

my monitor max supported resolution is 1920X1080 @ 120hz and sometimes i play in 3d .. is gtx 770 2gb a good leap from 7950 and would last with me a year or something ?
i also have the option to buy a 7970 for the same price of the gtx 770 2 gb ..
which is better ?

i also have another concern .. when i play max payne with my 7950 3gb card .. max every thing and try 2 or 4 msaa i get that its using 2.8 gigs of vram ... so will 2gb be a safe bet with all these new demanding games ?

A GTX 780 SC http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CUIVSNS/ref=as_li_q... would last you about 3-4 years.

the point is .. i cant get a 780 right now cos its out of my budget so i have to wait and my card the 7950 is loosing its value day after day i have a good offer now to trade it for a gigabyte gtx 770 2gb ... perhaps i do that now and upgrade a year later to 780 ? will that be ok ? can the gtx 770 runs me for another year and make a difference from 7950 ?

If you already have the 7950 then I'd keep it for a year. You could upgrade to the GTX 770 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CU9GOAE/ref=as_li_q... and it would last you a couple years if you wanted to.

thanks for your advice .. i think ill trade my 7950 for a gtx770 and ill keep it for a while ..

thanks again ..
