Constant BSOD after update (0x19)

Hello everyone,
I recently installed a Windows Update. It acted normally (Please restart your computer...configuring update 0%...installing update 3%...etc). But after the restart, whenever I start back up from standby or sometimes even after just starting the computer up from shutdown, the computer crashes with the STOP code BAD_POOL_HEADER (0x19). Using a third-party app (because the Win8 BSOD doesn't show you the parameters or anything, sadly), I found out that parameter 1 for the code (the only one that matters in this particular case, so far as I could tell from microsoft's website) is 0x20. I reinstalled the LAN, chipset, and graphics drivers (and made sure everything else was up to date using the Windows Device Manager), but none of them worked.
If anyone has a fix or suggestions they would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
TennisTheMenace
EDIT: BlueScreenView says that almost all the crashes were due to the NPFS Driver (Npfs.SYS). Any suggestions?

Solution
npfs.sys is part of Windows OS. Try to see if System File Checker will fix it for you
Winkey plus 'X'
Choose Command Prompt (Admin)
Type sfc /scannow then Enter

If that fails, you could also try chkdsk
At CMD Prompt
Type chkdsk /f /r then Enter. (note spaces before /). Type Y and Enter to run the program when you restart Windows. Expect it to take a long time if you have a large drive. Use this to check out the chkdsk log

After that is Refresh my PC or Reset my PC as last resorts....
