Can anyone tell me if these results are what one should expect with my build = gtx 770, i5 4670k, z78x-0c, vengeance 1600mhz 8gb, ssd 120gb samsung 840, WD caviar 1tb hdd

I noticed that under the category cpu testing / cpu testing 2, I was getting 1-4 fps.

Could that mean by cpu is faulty?

No that's a decent score. I just scored 25,000 with the same card on a 2500k that is unclocked, so running at 3.3. I've just killed my good mobo and I'm using a cheap one but on the good one, clocked to 4.8, I was seeing over 30,000 of 3dmark06. So CPU helps but GPU is most important.

The CPU score is always crap - it's never more than 3 or 4 FPS. I used to get 1 to 2 on a gtx 260.

And I still use 3dmark06 because I can compare my scores on all my old cards! I remember getting 8300 on an 320MB 8800gtx and thinking that was hot sh!t :)

BTW - why no overclock? So long as you've got a decent mobo, you should always clock a k-series CPU! Add a decent cooler (I've got a Corsair h60 watercooler) and you should see 4.5 no worries. My old Asrock mobo ran at 4.8 for over 2 years, until that lightning storm lol. And it was one mouse click in the BIOS, no messing around with settings! I've ordered a new identical mobo so I'll be reclocking ASAP.
