I'm going to buy a laptop for my office works and i think to use it for gaming as well. I'm not a hardcore gamer but i'm gonna play some demand games like battle field3 , COD , GTAV, skyrim , Crysis collection , AC collection.

I have 3 choices, but have no idea what will be the better one for gaming among below options.

1. Acer Aspire E1-572 4th Generaton Core i5 , 4GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4400

2. HP 1000-1402TX Core i3, 4GB RAM , AMD Radeon HD 7450M 1 GB

3. Dell Inspirion N3521, Intel Core i5-3337U 1.8Ghz 3rd Genaration,4GB DDR3 ,ATI Radeon HD 8730M 1GB

Highly appreciate your advices in this regards.

Thanks.

edit: if there is no big diff between option 2 and 3. i will be buying option 2

Huge difference. Option 3 for gaming.

In gaming the video card is critical and Option 1 and 2, well, suck.

Option 3 is so much better. Many people write in and ask to upgrade the video card in a laptop and this is not possible, except in a few high end cases.

Also keep in mind that laptop CPU does not have the same performance as desktop CPU. Also laptops have limited air cooling so when playing games, CPU fan will be on max and can be noisy and get quite warm.

I have a laptop with i7 and radeon 6690M. Plays ok Skyrim and Diablo3. But get really warm and noisy.

In general laptops are not good for gaming: cannot upgrade CPU and video card. Except really high end ones.

Depending on your budget, it may make far more sense to buy a basic laptop and BUILD a separate gaming machine.

The games you mention are very demanding for any laptop.

For example:
Most of the laptops that are "okay" for gaming start at about $1200. I can buy a $400 laptop for office use, and build a desktop PC with that remaining $800 that would game far better than the $1200 laptop.

*The fact that you even mentioned an Intel GPU solution in your list indicates you don't know much about this topic. I'm not trying to be rude, it's just that you may need MORE INFORMATION before you make a decision.

I'm gonna use my laptop for software developing (very large scale projects) using netbeans , VS and few other tools . So i will need a good laptop other than $400 laptop.

And you are definitely correct , i don't know much about this GPU related things. I would be greatly appreciated if you can let me know more info about this. Thanks for ur reply :)
