no boot screen to access bios or startup options

i built a computer about a year ago and have never had a boot screen it just stays black then boots up to the windows screen. i am booting off of a ssd my computer is intel core i7 3770k cpu, motherboard is gigabyte z77x - d3h, 16gb of kingston ram and amd radeon hd 7800 series graphic card. any help would be much appreciated. i have checked other threads here before poosting and also many hours on google but nothing has seemed to work yet. also if its any help i am not running a pc monitor i am using a panasonic tv. many thanks

Have you tried clearing the CMOS by unplugging your computer and using the jumper or button to reset defaults. The newer boards have a setting to speed up the boot that makes it impossible to get into the bios if you don't reset it first, then use the delete key on post to enter.

Most likely BIOS or UEFI is at a resolution the Panasonic TV doesn't support, such as 1280x1024. Windows loads the correct drivers and support for your TV's 720 or 1080, but the BIOS or UEFI doesn't output those resolutions. Only fix I know of is to use another monitor that will work with 1280x1024, unless your mobo people make a patch to change res to support older TV's. I have this issue too.
