I really need Help idk whether to go a Amd FX-6300 with Decent Mobo or Intel Core i5-4430 with roughly cheap mobo
but is a OC 6300 with good mobo better than a i5 with cheap mobo? cuz i know its the CPU + GPU thats makes me play games better not really the Mobo pls help and any OTHER CPUS tell me i just threw those out there
im really just looking to be able to play most games on really high or high and medium if its an intense game...
thank you so much if u participated in my quest :D

It depends...

What are you using it for? If it's solely for gaming, get an i5-3350p ($180) and a cheap motherboard with the rest. If you're doing other things besides gaming, grab the FX-8350 ($179 after a $20 off promo, ending tomorrow on Newegg) and a cheap motherboard with that. Really depends. Personally I use my computer to browse the web, listen to music and do other things so I would go for the FX-8350.

The i5-3350p has a locked multiplier and isn't overclockable. The FX-8350 is around the same speed or faster in most games. Plus it's better for multitasking so personally I would recommend the FX-8350. Either choice is fine, but I really suggest the FX-8350. It's very fast and can handle any game.
