Can't log into modum

Whenever I put my gateway into Google chrome, it comes up with the name of my network, instead of 'admin'. Even if I change the username to 'admin' and the password to 'password' and click log in, it just refreshes and the username goes back to the name of my network. Any help would be great. Thanks
Edit: My modum is a Netgear EVG2000

Did you try resetting the router to default? It should have a small pinhole with a button. Depress the button until you see the lights go out, then try it out.
