I just ordered a 15z-j000 configured below and I'm wondering if i should have upgraded the CPU to an A10-5750m. I'm using this computer for school and gaming (School>Gaming) which is why I didnt get some Maxed out 1080p Crysis 3 computer but i did want a good looking above average computer that can play source games like TF2 maxed out and games like Borderlands 2, Payday 2, IV, and Minecraft decently.

Also I am unsure how HP's AMD dual graphics work. is it similar to Nvidia Optimus where the graphics card change depending on the intensity of the graphics or like normal AMD crossfire where both work together when supported, or does it do both o_O

thanks in advance

Solution
Hi, About the CPU i don't think it should be worth it since the A10-5750m isn't that much better.
And about dual graphics is like you can choose to use your internal GPU or the Dedicated one or both at the time like crossfire.
you should be able to run all modern and recent games in mid-high settings with that Notebook
this guy has the same notebook and he has a lot of videos of him playing good games, you can check his videos:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucM7ZRizVX0&feature=autoshare
