Conflicted between LGA 1150 and 2011

I was considering buying a 4770K for my new rig, which is pretty damn high end. However, I'm going to be doing a lot of 3d Modeling, and I've heard that the rendering is heavily dependent on the CPU. There's no lack for GPU power. I plan to have the EVGA GTX 780 (overclocked, but on reference cooler) in 2-way SLI. I'm also planning to have a Swiftech H220 on the CPU, and overclock it somewhere between 4.5 to 5.0 GHz. Is the LGA 1150 Socket enough to fluidly render in 3D and do video editing? (Referring to the number of threads and cores and everything).

Solution
i would say wait for the launch of ivy bridge which will support pci-e 3.0

and it will be more future proof than anything

a 975 i7 is just a 5% lowe than 4670k and for three generations between them this comparitively is great futureproofed than haswell

Not entirely sure, as I'm not exactly an expert in 3d Modeling as of yet. The program's name is Silo 2. Very straightforward, purposeful program. Though I've tried using my laptop with a 2.7 GHz 3740QM with it, and it proved almost impossible to work with.

Ok, but since I will be doing a lot more CPU-intensive stuff over the next few years (just an estimation), is Haswell a more futureproof solution? Or should I wait for September and get the Ivy-E 4930K when it comes out?

I will be considering the Asus Rampage IV Formula for the LGA 2011 motherboard, please suggest any others if you think there's a better board for overclocking.
