I am playing some cod 4 and i see some things are not rendering well. It depends on the distance somehow. If i'm far away from the thing im looking, the textures look bad and somethimes the object is even missing

As you can see, some textures are not rendering on distances. I didn't had this problem around a few weeks ago, but now i have it. It's on black ops 2 too and few other games.

my PC specs are :

amd fx-4100 quadcore
amd 6900 HD series (driver 13.4)
8 Gb of ram
Windows 7

Solution

It's on high, but my buddy made a pro mod server with soften map option, thats why it looks bad

if your games are on a hard drive (rather than ssd) try doing a disk cleanup and defragging it....

I'm not really sure what else, short of a fresh install of windows, will help. i know thats time consuming, but its not a bad idea to do every once in a while. Wait around though and see what others might have to suggest before doing that though.
