An overclocked 7970 will do you well for a while. Trust me, I know personally.

yes a new series card is going to be better, lets say a 8970 would have newer tech and would be OC also so yes its like anything else things age and newer ones will replace them

ok good. my cpu is bassicly future proche for like 3-4 yrs. if any of the cards are really good for a bit more then 300$ then obviously i will upgrade
