I already understand that GTA 4 is a bad port and that it doesn't run well on some systems. I only have 3 or 4 car mods that modify 1 car. And if I install any more, the textures and world objects vanish. I have no doubt that this question has been asked many times before but I'm looking to join a clan but you need certain car mods to join, etc.
My specs:
i5 3570k @4.4 ghz
8gb 1600 mhz ram
MSI Artic Frozr HD 7950 3gb
2tb Seagate 7200 rpm hdd
I'm not sure how others can run it better on their laptops but I have a feeling the problem is to do with the graphics card being a AMD and not a Nvidia (the game was made for nvida cards)
I installed GTA from steam if thats of any use,
