oh im sure it'll be better for overclocking than the stock cooler haha, but other than that, it looks like the air will blow down through the heatsink, and back across the top of the cpu. those coolers are generally used in cases with limited space. It will definitely work, dont get me...

any reason you chose that particular air cooler? it seems like you have plenty of space for a bigger one, and one like a cm hyper 212 evo can be had for less than the one that you have chosen

edit: when i say bigger, i guess i meant upright. i just prefer one that blows the heat right out the back of the case

I believe it will blow it out the back of the case, and no I just thought it would work good if I do decide to overclock it or not.
