You can obtain the Wi-Fi password by going into the router admin console and configuring the password.
In your browser (from the computer connected to the wifi router) type 192.168.0.1 (or whatever your gateway address is) which will bring you to the admin screen.
If you don't know the login credentials to the router admin screen the defaults are listed at http://www.routerpasswords.com
If the default credentials do not work, hold down the reset button on the router for 30 seconds to set the login credentials back to factory defaults.

Use WPA because it provides better security.

4)Write this Security Passphrase down and put it in a safe place to access when needed.

5)Save settings and close your browser.
