Urgently need help. Building five identical systems, first two running fine for the last few days. But the last two have died on startup.
One goes through post and then freezes on the bios startup screen with a graphical glitch (lateral spread).
The other can last longer, (once managed to enter windows installer before freezing), but then suffers the similar graphics glitch and emits a continuous beep.
The spec for all machines is as follows:
Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M USB3
CPU: AMD FX8320
RAM: 2x4Gb Crucial Ballistics DDR3
PSU: ACE 400W PSU
HDD: WESTERN DIGITAL AV 250GB 7200RPM SATA HD
All machines were assembled in the same manner with anti-static protection etc. I'm now holding off building the fifth until I work out what is wrong with the failing two. Unfortunately, having assumed the first failure was due to a bad motherboard I ordered a replacement, but now that two have died I'm worried I've done something wrong.
UPDATE: Removed and replaced RAM modules. Machine made it to the "Starting Windows point" before freezing again. This time, no beep. Instead graphic distortion, red copy of displayed text flickers either side.
