Hey all,

I'm trying to find a good 27" monitor with a 1-2ms response with a price range between 250-350 euros.

I've been using Acer monitors for years now and I love the bright and crisp picture of their displays, but it seems that Acer does not have anything in their offer that will suit me.

Now, the issue is - In my country, this range of displays is seldom being sold, and the retailers can only offer me to order a specific monitor so it can be delivered. This does not give me the opportunity to check them out myself, so I will have to rely on your advice on which one to purchase.

The brands that are mostly being imported here are Acer, Samsung, Asus and LG, so that limits the choice a bit as well.

The only available model that can be bought in store here is the Asus VS278Q, but I heard so many horror stories about the viewing angles and the performance of that monitor, that made me very reluctant about grabbing it.

So, I would like to hear you suggestions based on the performance that I require, the price range I mentioned and the manufacturer options that are available for order here.

I am an Audio Engineer, and I just need a nice large screen with a good quality display that can also give me the ability to enjoy some higher-end gaming sessions in my free time (thus the low response rate).

Anyone has any suggestions on what's good on the market currently?

Thanks in advance!

the best monitor for that price range would have to be the 29" Dell UltraSharp U2913WM Widescreen IPS its a bit more expensive but it is ultra wide and it has a 8ms response time with a 60Hz with a 21:9 aspect ration it is perfect for an audio engineer it gives you enough real estate while retaining outstanding quality.

heres where i got it from http://

Dells are complicated to order here, also I'm looking for a very low response rate (1-2ms) so I can also have some fun after work hours :)
