Hello, thanks for taking the time to read this. I am going to purchase this card soon, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202003

I currently have this power supply, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171031

So basically, the card requires 2 8 pin connectors. The description says that it needs 1 6 pin and 1 8 pin, but the reviews say that is an error, it's actually 2 8 pin connectors. My power supply has 1 6 pin. What adapters/cables would I need to purchase to make this powersupply work with this card? Thanks, any information is appreciated.

Picture of the card shows a 6pin and an 8pin connector. Most of the newer quality PSU with enough power to run it come with two or more 6+2 pin connectors.
You need a new power supply to run that card. Though it is marketed as having sufficient power, check this link in the tier 4 list: It doesn't produce the advertised power.

"Tier 4 - Not Recommend for stressful situations. May not be able to put out full rated power above room temperature, and may slightly fail to meet ATX specs.
