Hi, I need some info on a new 1TB hard disk

My system details are
Platform : Intel VIIV
Mainboard : Intel DG35EC
Chipset : Intel G35
Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 @ 2666 MHz
Physical Memory : 2048 MB (2 x 1024 DDR2-SDRAM )
Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT
Hard Disk : Seagate ST3500418AS ATA Device (500GB)
DVD-Rom Drive : SONY DVD RW DRU-V200S
Network Card : Intel 82566DC Gigabit Network Connection
Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate Professional Media Center 6.01.7601 Service Pack 1 (32-bit)
DirectX : Version 11.00
Windows Performance Index : 5.1 on 7.9

Now, can I buy "Seagate Barracuda SV-35 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (ST1000VX000)" or 2 TB one, will this support my motherboard.

In case if the above one does not support then please suggest a seagate 1TB harddrive which supports my system.

Update:
I was actually worried about the speed, for my current hard drive its 3.0 G/s and for the one I mentioned about its 6.0 G/s.

Its good to know that the new one supports.
