Hello, I own Alienware R1. This morning my graphics were switched to Intel power saving graphics... I installed a beta driver nVidia Notebook BETA Driver (NV), v.197.12, P03. I tried switching the graphics through FN+F6 and it did not work.. I uninstalled everything from Nvidia my screen resolution is terrible and the big problem is that everytime i try to install nVidia Geforce GT335M, v.263.08, A02 it says intallation failed no matter what. Yes i've restarted. Please help!

Hi Kimberly.

Have you tried to install older drivers? Start by uninstalling any installed driver, and then install any driver that is not BETA.

Also, i'm pretty sure Nvidia offers some kind of drivers manager.

You can also try myconfig.com

Hello,

First try to install the drivers provided with your computer (CD or online support on Alienware's website).
When you are done, you can look at nvidia's website to download the latest drivers for your graphic card, try to avoid beta drivers for now.

You can also use Geforce Experience from nvidia to help you download and keep your drivers up to date easily :
