Hello,

I'm looking for new quality pc monitor. From monitor I would like to get:
- Quality text (I'm using computer for programming and reading - so looking for something that does not hurt eyes too much and also show text in good way)
- Nice colors
- I would like to use monitor for games as well (fps games too)

I think 24 inch will be the best for me.
Resolution: 1920x1080
Gpu that will power monitor: evga gtx 760

I was thinking to get dell u2412m but I realized that it's pretty old and maybe there should be any better option. This one also got 8ms refresh rate and 60hz. I'm looking to get monitor in range to $400 but also could be less.

Thanks in advance

I wouldn't touch this monitor due to its lack of native DVI connectivity. It's also a bit on the expensive side for an already discontinued product. I must say though that IPS would be ideal if you want good color balance, brightness and contrast and your best bang for buck is right around the 23" mark.

Here's my recommendation: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Asus is generally the go-to company when it comes to IPS panels although some swear by Dell and others. Eizo probably makes the best ones for image/video editing but they are not cheap.
