I was playing a game for a good bit of time when my screen randomly froze and sound started playing on a 'buzzing' loop (this seemed strange as no recent hardware changes took place other than a mobo and CPU swap about a month ago that worked perfectly). No key binds worked, so I killed it and was met with this on startup. I ran Chkdsk and Startup Repair to no avail. I then tried the all of the following:
- Swapped HDD's with another computer.
- Booted from a disc with an external drive for memory.
- Reset the CMOS.
None of these have worked so far, and I can think of little else to try other than to bring the machine in for repair. Is there anything else I can do?

No, it's relatively new:
- CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1045T
- GFX: HD 4890
- Motherboard: MSI 890FXA-GD70
- Memory: 4GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Strange, we just tried a fresh Windows 7 install on a different HDD and we could boot from it unlike when we tried an XP install. Also the old 'bad' HDD can actually be read when put on another PC, but not booted from. Looking into backing up the files and formatting the 'bad' HDD so I can install Windows 7 on it and get it working again.

Also, how can I manually uninstall Windows 7 from that 'bad' HDD with it in a working computer? Which files should I remove for a fresh install?
