My cousin is selling his M14x R2 and i am in the market for a new gaming laptop myself. He's willing to sell it to me for a very attractive price, and the laptop seems capable of heavy gaming to me. Its got a
Intel "Ivy Bridge" Core i5 processor and a
1gb dedicated GeForce GT650m graphics card and its in mint condition. I plan on playing new titles and upcoming titles such as Battlefield 4 and Dragon Age Inquisition on it, for long periods of time. Can this laptop handle it???

how much and why is he selling it? alienware is prob the worst brand you could want and with a 650m you are expecting like 20fps so its not heavy gaming by any means

^This, exactly. Alienware is a "flashy" brand, but their products aren't very good. For $500? Sure, it'd be fine. For $1000, you can do better.

Also, make sure the warranty is transferable if you are going to buy it.
