Upgrading to Windows 7

I have a Toshiba laptop with windows vista, and I want to install windows 7. If I wipe the hard drive, will all of the stuff still work without the software that I got it with?(stuff as in keyboard, media keys, touchpad)

  1. Before you start, get all of the Windows 7 drivers for it.

Where would I get them from?
  3. well the only way to know for sure is to look at the support page at toshiba. They should list the individual programs/drivers and the supported OSes. I had a lenovo laptop that I upgraded to Win7 and it lost the fingerprint sensor and some other less used stuff. I reformatted recently and discovered after a few years that they have all the software ready for win7 now.
