Hi, This problem has really been bugging me. To give everyone some background info. I have a virgin superhub that is being run in modem mode (as I hated it!!), which is connected to my Linksys 3000. From the Linksys i have an ethernet cable running to the TP LINK Gigabit switch which is on the second floor of the house. From the switch I have 2 x 50m ethernet cables running to my office at the end of the garden. The wifi signal from the Linksys drops out at the back of the house so i wanted to use an old DLink DIR615 I had lying around as an access point in my my office using one of the ethernet cables that is in there, the other cable is permanently attached to my PC.

I am able to access and login into the Linksys 3000 settings via its default gateway from the office. However when I try to access the Dlink the same way eg 192.168.0.1 or 0.2 nothing works!! Even trying to install from the disk doesnt work. This means without accessing the router settings from the office I am unable to turn the router into an access point. Could anybody suggest why this may be and even better help me with some instructions as to how this can be rectified. Is it the fact that I have a switch that could be causing a conflict somewhere?

Any help would be much appreciated.
