Hey all,

I recently purchased a GTX 760 OC with ACX cooling
(http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...).

The card came with 2 power cables and two power plugs but the instructions weren't clear; do i only need to connect both if I'm using 2 GPU's (SLI) or do i need to connect both even if im only using this card by itself?

Thanks

You have to have both plugged in when it's not in SLI as well.

You'll only need the Molex to PCI power adapter cables that come with the card if your power supply lacks the required PCI power connectors. Older power supplies might not have 2x 6-pin connectors for instance.

It doesn't matter whether you have one card or two cards or four cards in SLI, all PCI power connectors on the card(s) must always be connected.
