My current FPS in this game is about 1-10 FPS when in massive battles. Around 50 when there seems to be absolutely no strain at all(i.e. in an open field, not in the warpgate. It's worse in the warpgate). My current setup is AMD Athlon 5600+, Radeon 7750, 6 gigs of 800 mhz DDR2 RAM. My budget is $400-$550. I'm planning to buy these components to build my new rig:
Motherboard: ASRock B75M-DGS R2.0 Micro ATX LGA1155
RAM: 8 GB DDR3-1600 mhz
CPU: i5-3570k 3.4 ghz
Case: Rosewell REDBONE ATX Mid Tower
PSU: Corsair 500W
CPU Cooler: Arctic Cooling ACFZ11-LP
To obtain any missing parts(harddrive, graphics card, ect...) I plan to salvage them from my old PC. I've thought about recording the game and putting some videos on Youtube, but it's not high priority. My main priority is to be able to run the game no lower then 30 FPS in any situation. If this setup is capable of recording then it's an added bonus, but I'm not building this PC for the specific purpose of recording.
I've read that the i5-3570k can run this game no problem, but I still have some questions:
1.) Should I invest in faster, more expensive RAM?(if so, how much of a performance boost will it yield)
2.) Will the i5-3570k be able to handle ANY situation no lower then 30 FPS?(if not then what processor would be able to do this)
3.) Is my current video card good for running the game on low-medium?
4.) Will this setup be able to overclock well, and does it actually NEED overclocking(i.e. can I spend a little less on cooler and PSU)
