You don't have to take the computer apart per se to find out about your power supply, you should be able to see the label with all the necessary info by just taking the side panel off the case, not requiring touching any sensitive part. Mr. Boom Booms suggestion is probably the route i would go though if your PSU isn't something decent, that's a good PSU (i run one right now) and a decent graphics card, you'll be happy with both.
Well as long as I will be able to play upcoming fps, and rpg games nicely then i'll be happy. Are there any games I can't play at all? (Not even on low settings) and if so are they the kind of games I like to play?
now is it possible that when I install my new psu my computer won't be strong enough for it? Like the psu is too powerful? Also I couldn't find online on how the psu helps with gaming. I also wanted to know if the graphics card suggested (AMD 7770) is really that much of an upgrade from my current nvidia GT 610. I'll be very thankful for an answer.
Like I said before.... the AMD 7770 can play BF3 Ultra at 45 fps, Crysis 3 medium-high at 35 fps, Far Cry 3 (it used to be free when you got the card) ultra at 45 fps, and Metro Last Light High at 40 fps. So yeah.... it's about 10 times better than the GT 610. The GT 610 can't even play Battlefield Play 4 Free where as the AMD 7770 can play BF: P4F at about 140 fps. On the 3D Mark 11 benchmark, the GT 610 scores a 560 where as the 7770 scores 3098. On Passmark, the 610 scores 344 and the 7770 scores 2155. So, basically, the AMD 7770 scores a ~7 times higher score than the 610. In short, the GT 610 is about as powerful as my $300 laptop.

This is a comparison of the two cards, and the GT 610 has no advantage over the AMD 7770. Trust me, I know what I am talking about. And if you're getting the AMD 7770, also get the CX 430M power supply.
JUST GET IT
