I played on console my whole life and I recently started to play PC. I want to play games like call of duty and battlefield 4 (when it comes out) but I'm scared that the games I dream to play on PC will be Unplayable because I am a complete noob. I need fast tips to help me succeed so that when I completely get rid of console my list of games that I am capable of playing on PC expands.

More about : suck console

The transition from controller to mouse will take a day or two to get used to, after that you'll be faster and more accurate than you could imagine (compared to console). If you can start playing any kind of FPS with a mouse/keyboard, that will be a good start to being able to jump right in.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REPLYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way I'm starting off with Call of duty world at war then I'm going to work my way up. I'm still really rusty. Is this a good start though?

For sure, a FPS is a FPS, just get used to it with the new setup and you'll be set.

Thanks for your honesty... At any rate, as stated you'll get used to it pretty quick.

If anything, you can connect your XBox 360 controller to your PC.

I did that during my transition...it just made me realize how much better mouse/keyboard is because i was instantly much worse.
