Not much really you can buy a brand new laptop that has a slightly more powerful CPU and much more powerful integrated graphics for as low as $400 theses days. An example is the following 15.6" Lenovo G580 which has an Intel Core i3 3120M (2.50GHz) and an Intel HD 4000. It only has 4GB of RAM, but that is easily upgradeable and it only has a 320GB hard drive, but again easily upgradeable.

Although the i3-3210m is clocked a little lower @ 2.5GHz than the i5-460m with turbo boost @ 2.8GHz (when only using 1 core), the Ivy Bridge generation i3-3210m is actually 19% more powerful than a 1st gen Core series CPU so it is equivalent to your i5 running at almost 3.0GHz.

The Intel HD graphics pales in comparison to the Intel HD 4000. The Sandy Bridge generation Intel HD 3000 was considered to be the 1st Intel iGPU to be actually good enough for playing games.

Factoring in the age of the battery, I would assume a new battery would be necessary in the near future, and naturally no warranty, I would say at best $250. You can always check out ebay to so what people are bidding on either the same model laptop you have, or something similar.
