The title says it all, it worked with DVI but I left the cord at my friends house. I came home and started it and no signal! Everything is plugged in? The machine starts up perfect... I'm using a GTX 780, any advice?
The gpu should auto detect, it does with mine, with either dvi, dvi to hdmi or straight hdmi. double check the graphics card, open the case and re-screw the card, i have a feeling the plate above the card is getting in the way.
check to see if the case is not blocking slightly unable for the hdmi plug to be inserted all the way in.
Also, you may need to set through nvidia control panel to allow hdmi under resolution, although it should detect automatically you would think - but this will only work if you had a vga/dvi cable to see obviously.
what sort of monitor is it? some may need to be configured through the menu to use hdmi.
Its a brand new ASUS, I have 2 things hooked up to hHDMI already. I tried my LED tv as well. No signal...HMM. Also there is no VGA port lol. I went and dug out an old VGA cable and realized there is no slot for it!
