==========
The problem:
==========

- I cannot install Windows 7.
- Sudden restarts/various BSODs/black screens at splash screen.

Rarely, I would be able to pass the splash screen and actually setup Windows briefly. But then yet another random restart occurs.

====================
My computer's situation:
====================

Before this problem, my computer was placed in a corner, right next to another tower (very stupid idea) and it would run while the other computer runs as well. Though even through such heat, the computer would still operate flawlessly.
I then moved into a new room, and then the random restarts started to occur while playing games. Then it started occurring randomly in general. I haven't made any recent updates to any of my software or drivers at that time, so I couldn't really figure out what was wrong. Perhaps, the extreme change in temperature?

So what I did was that I ran a new install of Windows 7 and cleared my partitions of all its data. After doing so, the computer seem to have stopped restarting and work normally. Nope, random restarts hits again out of no where. So again, I tried to re-install Windows 7, and this time BSOD. "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL STOP:0X000000D1"
When I searched up for solutions to this stop message, most suggested that it was either a hardware or software problem. I doubt that it would be a software problem since i cleaned all partitions clean. So I assumed a piece of hardware was malfunctioning, but I didn't know exactly what. The hard drive? The CPU? The mobo? Power supply?

Attempts
==========

- I've taken my computer apart piece by piece, did a little cleaning and even replaced the heatsink/fan with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo (I made sure to apply the thermal paste as well), and put everything back together. Tried to install Windows, and still the same problem, except a various amount of BSOD's would appear with every attempt.

-I've swapped RAM sticks into different slots and even used some individually, trying to find a bad stick. Nope, same results. Restarts at splash screen.

-I've tried swapping HDD. I have 2. An old 250 GB HDD, and a fairly new 500 GB HDD. I've tried using each individually and both together. Same results, restarts at splash screen or BSOD "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

========================================================================================================

The computer is currently in a very well air conditioned room. Has the case lid off for more ventilation.

Please help, any suggestions?

I could probably invest in replacing a part or 2 but I want to make good use of the money I spent on building this computer.

None of those worked for me :l
But I just bought a new set of motherboard + CPU. Hopefully these replacements would fix the problem.
