1st time building a computer from scratch, and i'm looking for it to be able to handle games on high settings, preferably without having to change too much over the next few years, so was just looking for any input and help from people who have a bit more knowledge.

This is what i have come up with: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1rA5e

I also have a lot of films, music and games, so that's why i'm going for the larger HDD rather than an SSD.

I may have about an extra couple hundred pounds to put in the build if it's necessary.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yeah. that's a great setup, the liquid cooling will help a lot if you're gonna be overclocking that CPU (which is also a great CPU) and the combination with that GPU is pretty darn good. LOL

Even on a resolution like 2560x1600 you'd still get at least 40 fps on most games at max settings.

And the decision with the HDD is a good idea since you'll be using a lot of space. LOL

So in all, that's a great build.
