cheapest processor that can run games on highest settings

I am trying to buy a processor that can run games like skyrim on ultra. Also can anybody show me cheap but good quality motherboards, gpus, and cases please. I am asking toms because i heard this website is the best for computer help.

Cheapest options are likely something like a Phenom II X4 965 BE For about $90-95, next cheapest would look at the FX 6300 for about $110.

Both of those can be overclocked and can run your games fine.

For cases, there are a myriad of those out there...find something you like...I like the Zalman and Gigabyte cases best personally, but a lot of that is simply personal preference.

A good MB to go with either of those CPUs would be something like the Asus M5A97 R2.0, the Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0, or the...

A good MB to go with either of those CPUs would be something like the Asus M5A97 R2.0, the Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0, or the Gigabyte 970A-UD3, and last the MSI 970A-G46. I would recommend the Asus or Gigabyte boards for overclocking...especially the 99X EVO R2.0.

For a GPU, consider something like a Radeon HD 7870XT or HD 7950...either of those can be had somewhere around $250 (7870XT) to $300-350 (7950). Those should play games on Ultra no problem...
