Nvidia GTX 650 + Intel core 2 Duo E7500?

I have Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 GHz processor with G31T-M9 motherboard............ recently my brother brought Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 for me, but i donno whats the problem bcoz when i put the graphics card in the slot and try to switch on my pc, i does not start.
Is it that the motherboard isnt supporting the graphics card or is there any other problem?
Please help me...!!!

And tell me if i need to change anything other than the processor (i dont have enough money).

dude chage your power supply it is not enough to power up this gpu
atleast a 400watt with 6 pin power connector is required

don't plug card again with this psu you may burn it

Ok.
So all i need to do is buy a 400 watt (minimum) PSU?
Btw which PSU should i buy? from where can i buy it?
could i be able to play games like battlefield 4 with this card and processor?

The e7500 is a 65 watt processor, the GTX 650 is a 64 watt GPU, and the other components draw some power too. That's 129 watts, plus RAM, and other peripherals. What else is plugged into your PSU?

I'd go 200 watt max on a 250 watt PSU, assuming 80% efficiency/sweet spot on that PSU.

Unplug everything from the PSU that's unnecessary, except the CPU, GPU, RAM, and one boot drive and test. If it still does not boot, a new PSU is probably in your future. There is a PSU tier, get the highest you can afford.

corsair cx 430 v2 buy this psu

yes you can play any game with this gpu and cpu
but on medium settings

Don't cheap out on power supply.
Buy a reliable one.
A well known brand.
