Custom PC, need help picking power supply.

Hey I got a GIGABYTE H61M-DS2 LGA 1155 INTEL H61 MICRO ATX MB, i3 processor 3.10ghZ, 8gb ram, HIS Radeon HD 7770 iCooler 1GB, my computer doesnt seem to turn on because of the ultra 550w power supply, any help? What power supply should I get?

Get a 450-500w PSu from Antec, XFX, Corsair, seasonic.

I dont really know about power supplys but shoudnt I get one that has more than 550w? the one i had was 550 and it fails

what brand? a xfx 550 would handle this easy

Is the brand of your PSU 'Ultra' if so, it's probably some cheap company with very low efficiensy, 550W should handle your build with ease

Your build likely pulls 240w MAX. $50w is MORE than enough. You had a cheap junky PSU.
