ok so i have a pretty complicated situation that the pros will probs only know. heres the sitch:
I have a radeon 7870 that i no longer use cause i now have a gtx 680, BUT i tried to sell the 7870 on ebay, sold it and the guy sent it back saying it didnt work so i gave him a refund and everything because he filmed it and everything so he had proof, so i chuck it back in my system and it works!. He said the fan wasnt spinning at all, it did for me. now this is why, it seems that the card has set itself to only work on my pc with my monitor for some reason? if i try to plug another monitor into the same dvi as the other one, nothing happens (the monitor 100% works on other pc's). so i further investigated this by putting the 7870 into my dads pc to see what happens and the fan doesnt spin, display doesnt turn on and the pc restarts? so whats happening? its a powercolor radeon 7870 GhZ edition 2gb ddr5 i think please help i still want to sell it but only untill its going to work in another pc.

1000W doesn't mean it was good at all. What make/model? There are "1000W" models that are beaten by a good 600W. Anyway, out of curiousity what make/model is the 450W?
