i have just recently got the radeon HD 7970. but fir some reason when i put my computer to sleep and then wake it up the display that is connected to the Display port wont turn on. i have to restart my computer for that display to work again. my main monitor is connected to the HDMI. my second monitor is using the DVI to VGA adaptor that came with the video card. my third monitor/ TV is using a eyeinfinity certified Display port to HDMI adaptor. my drivers are all up to date. i have no clue what would be causing this. any help would be appreciated.

I've heard that is a common problem with 7xxx series, especially Sapphire. I assume you tried different drivers already?

I read that my 7870s have that problem so I just never use sleep. I disabled it in the command prompt. Sorry I couldn't help. Maybe someone else will know something I don't.
