So, I just got a copy of mass effect 2 to play and I went to install it, after it was installed I installed PhysX that came with the game (CPU PhysX) but when I went to play the game I got a message saying "Direct 3d is not available because the computer is locked". I am the admin on the pc, I went to dxdiag and it told me direct 3d and direct draw are unavailabe, my drivers are Catalyst 13.8 beta and my system specs are -

- Sapphire Radeon HD 7770
- 4gb 1333mhz hyper ram
- CiT 450w dual 12v psu
- windows 8 64 bit
