Hi guys, first if this is the wrong section to put my problem, im sorry and please move it to the right section.

second, some of you know (if you have read in my thread that i was going to buy either an ASUS or an Lenovo) i bought the Lenovo... Its almost 6 days old and im already having BIG problem with the wifi. The signal isnt strong and its always like 1-2 bars, but my old ASUS is always like 3-4 bars (in the same location)
And sometimes it just dies for a couple of seconds or minutes and then reconnects, and sometimes it even dies completely and a yellow thing is at the wifi thing and it says limited access...

I've downloaded like 10000 drivers for my wifi and none of them work. can you guys please help me?

Here my specs on the laptop
Lenovo Ideapad G580
- Intel Core i5™-3230M
- Intel HD Graphics 4000
- 1TB HDD
- 6GB DDR3 RAM
- Broadcom 802.11n network adapter, my current version is 6.30.95.29

PLEASE HELP ME! im going crazy!

Hi,

Sorry to say, the wifi card is weak.

From there you have 2 option
1- change your laptop
2- get a usb card and see if you get a better signal

Before you buy anything, try just a few easy 'location' changes:

move the laptop a little left or right
Rotate it some
Change the angle of the antenna
Move the WiFi router

You may be in a weak spot (not full dead area). Your old one may have been better, and this one is just showing how weak that particular spot is.

If that doesn't work, then a USB wifi adapter may do the trick.

Well sometimes when i am at this spot, it works perfectly even if its 1-2 bars, its just like the ASUS... however sometimes randomly it weaken and goes from 900kb/s to 12-40kb/s

But the strangest thingis that it says sometimes Wifi Access limited and the yellow thing comes up at the wifi signal and i have to either wait for it reconnect or i have to shutdown my wifi at the computer and turn it on again... :/
