Hello all,

I am planning on building a new gaming rig; to save money i have decided to use a 50 inch tv as my monitor for gaming, i will also use a second 23 inch monitor for everyday uses. Right now i am debating which video card would be able to handle bf4 maxed out on this hd tv without a sweat.

Currently i am looking at the GTX 690, 770, and 780 as potential possibilities.

I have never used Radeon cards before, but I would appreciate any suggestions as well.

I use a 780 right now and it is fantastic... the 690 is going to be better then the 780 but right now my 780 can run everything at max

The cheapest and best solution is sli 770.. the 770 has slightly 5-10% performance increase then the 680 still a very good card nonetheless

What I am doing and might be a good idea for you is buy one 780 card right now and after some point of time when the cards go down in price buy another one and sli. Since the 780 can run a lot of games at max without overclocking; you would be good for a long.
