Borderlands, CanYouRunIt says i can run something like 60+ fps but i dont :(

Says it call in the title! Im getting below 60fps even on lowest res!

Please help me

Specs:
CPU: Intel Core 2 duo 2.00ghz
GFX: nVidia Geforce 9800m gt 1gb
RAM: 4gb DDR3
Screen Res: 1920x1080

Other games:
Minecraft runs perfectly

That PC is slightly underpowered to run Borderlands, I have no idea why CYRi is suggesting 60fps.

Use GameDebate in future - much better for sys reqs.

Try overclocking your CPU and/or GPU.

EDIT: Just realised that your PC is a laptop - this is probably the problem. Laptop's aren't great for gaming.

I know but Im only getting a laptop at the moment

EDIT: My GPU Fan puffs are hot enough so i dont really want to over clock

Try not playing at 1080p, I don't think it has the power to push Borderlands at that resolution.

Both are old by modern standards. I'd image the first borderlands would be going between 30-45FPS based on settings. While Borderlands is an easier to run game, the CPU especially is going to be a problem...

Okay Fixed my problem, I set it at 720p with high textures and that
No shadows(SUPER LAG) Getting over 30fps
