I have a Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT and was wanting to upgrade to a GeForce 650 Ti SSC with a 1gb. What I want to know is what does the motherboard require to be able to use this card? Does it depend on model or just connections?

More about : motherboard support

a b V Motherboard
a b Î Nvidia
a b U Graphics card

they are both pci e cards, so it can run, but you will need a 6 pin power connector from the power supply for the 650 ti ssc to work.

Chances are that your motherboard will be fine, it's the power supply that may cause problems. Check what connections your power supply has, it's rated wattage and amps on the rails you will be connecting to the 650ti graphics card requirements. The 650 Ti requires a single six pin power connector, so check for that first.
