Hi,
Let me put it this way

1- Laptop are not good for gaming, bad heat dissipation,
2- Bad power management (especially for gaming on battery) result in low FPS
3- Laptop are design to last 1-2 years (video)
4- Bad warranty ( 1 year)
5- Battery life will last about 1 h if gaming

If you still want a laptop after that said, I recommend an Asus or Msi brand, seems they last a bit longer. Be ready to pay at least 800 - 1200 for a descent laptop

Do you have other requirements that require your new computer to be a laptop? You'll get more component flexibility going with a desktop computer, especially if you are willing to build your own. I built a desktop recently (not my first, btw), chose exactly the components I wanted, did it for about $1,000 and got much better performance than I could have with any laptop under $1,500. (Prices are US dollars.) It's powerful and quiet, runs cool, is Haswell-based (a somewhat future-proof path), and has better screen and keyboard than any laptop available. Building your own desktop box is much easier than most people realize; the hard part is choosing which components to use, but for me that is also the most fun.

If you absolutely must have a laptop, Dell and HP *business* laptops are generally better than their consumer-oriented lines. Also consider Lenovo, ASUS, Acer and Samsung. But do your homework, since some models are more reliable than others. And tech support does matter; I'd favor any manufacturer that has a call center for support in your home country, or at least one in the U.S. or Europe, where language and accent are less likely to be problems.
