Hi there!
Straight to the point: I have a Dell Inspiron 660 for my currect computer and i need help upgrading for a reasonable price. This computer has a
3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i5-3330 processor (6M Cache, up to 3.2 GHz) and that seem to be ok. But the graphics card is Intel® HD Integrated Graphics card and I've heard that's garbage. I also have 6MB of RAM. I was wondering, which of these I should upgrade so i can run my games at higher FPS and which ones to buy specifically.
The games that I play are World of Warcraft (i can currently play at 30fps if I don't do anything but when I do raids its almost <15fps. I wish it to be higher in raids so I can tell whats going on), I play TF2, and Portal (I cannot play Portal 2 because my card sucks).
Does anyone know which one I should upgrade first and for a reasonable to low price?
THANK YOU!

Yeah, IGPs generally suck at gaming. But before we make any suggestions, can you give a budget for the card? :)  And if you can, post what PSU you have and at what resolution you would be gaming. :)

Looking at the games you listed, though, I can say that you're not much into very graphically demanding games. An HD 7750 would be your best bet as an entry-level gaming card. :)

The video card. But also, you'll have to change the PSU, as yours is probably only 300w.

But also, the specs don't seem to say how many PCI-E slots are open, and what type. You'd have to open it up and look.

I'll leave it for others to suggest a specific GPU.

ya if its a 300 watt you will need a new psu as well, a nice 7870 is a nice card from all the reviews i have been seeing, its not a very long card ether :)

An HD 7750 would still be an option. Yes, looking at the power requirements for that card will give you a minimum of 400W, but he'll be fine with that since that card consumes 75W tops and draws all it's power needs from the PCIe slot.

However, that is if you're sticking with that PSU. If you can stretch it out a bit further, get a decent 500W PSU (Seasonic, XFX, Corsair) and a GTX 760; best bang-for-the-buck card out there right now. :wahoo:  And it would also make for a balanced build for your i5-3330. :)

Resolution wise, i have a full 1920x1080p monitor but i run WoW at 1360x768p. I would like to run at a higher resolution but only if i dont have to sacrifice any more FPS. I would like to remain at around 30 FPS on mid-high graphics (I wont be using any high demand graphics such as Water quality, shadows, or SSAO).
Also i just noticed that my computer doesn't have a PSU brick. It just plugs directly from the computer to the power strip. Would getting a HD 7750 require me to get a PSU?
and my PSU is 300 Watt.

You should be able to run the HD 7750 without a hitch. And with this card, I'm pretty sure you can run your games at 1080p on medium to medium-high settings at 30 FPS with it. Just be sure to get the 1GB GDDR5 version of the card as opposed to the 2GB DRR3 one. :wahoo:
