You won't need a 750W PSU - 600W should be fine.

If you're overclocking, an i5 3570k would be a better choice and cheaper - motherboard would also be cheaper.

Xigmatek Gaia cooler is slightly cheaper than 212 EVO, but just as good (so I've heard).

This should be good.

Drop the gtx 770 and get a radeon hd 7950 on newegg for $240. Even that is more than you need. It also comes with 3 free games when you buy. Good games, not cheap ones either. I'd also try to trim from other places and invest in a better monitor or decent speakers. Monitors usually last through a few builds, so don't go cheap on it.

That motherboard has no MOSFET heatsinks, so I'd be a bit cautious overclocking on it.

Good cost-cutting though. I'd take that over OP's config any day, although I'd probably stick with Corsair or XFX for the PSU.

I don't know about a specific make/model. I just know from experience that back in 2007, I went from a $200 22 inch aser to a $350 26 inch lg and the quality difference was enormous. The aser colors were washed out and blurry in comparison. I'm not saying all aser's are crap. Just this one. It defeated the purpose of an expensive graphics card. I've been using the lg ever since. I'm on my third pc build with it and am very happy that I spent the extra and didn't go cheap. 3 years from now, you will probably own a new graphics card but will probably be using the same monitor.
