I'm building a new PC and I am trying to decide whether or not to get Windows 8.

Is there a difference gaming wise? Do some games not work with windows 8?

From a gaming compatibility perspective there is little difference between Vista, 7, and 8 (Windows NT 6.0, 6.1. 6.2)

You may encounter issues with some games when alt-tabbing, Windowed mode, and the Metro/Tiles interface. But for full-screen gaming there should be zero issues.
