Hey guys, I have been thinking for a while that we need more dc or marvel based rpgs with the quality level of batman arkham franchise(mentioned because it is comic book based but not strictly rpg) and not a generic marvel ultimate alliance type rpg. A marvel rpg with a single player character like thor or iron man. For dc somebody like superman or martian manhunter. An argument based on characters like those being too powerful, I believe is invalid because developers do create games with,already masterfully skilled or very powerful characters that you still have to develop to reach their story based skill or/power potential. Ones I can think of off the top of my head is the witcher franchise,marvel ultimate alliance, and batman arkham franchise which has rpg elements. Create a story or pull a storyline from the massive amount of comics that these characters have and choose a story or create one with them on a journey regain their lost powers or something(or being severely weakened somehow.) Also having them up against insane odds. What are you guys' thoughts about this all?

But yes, obviously this could ne cool, although Batman is unique in being a decidedly HUMAN character with no special power. Most other characters from comics would make the game easy or just unrealistic(within that given universe obviously). AS you say, make them weak again... How will they regain the power though? Not really a simple concept.

Not that it'd be easy but but there are some skilled and creative writers out there. I think they could pull it off(Thor's been weakened a couple times that I remember-being turned into donald blake by his father/cursed with brittle bones by hela.) There are plenty of villains that could give superman a fight. They've created a good deal of complex storylines already.
